comments what can I say...he was one of my all time favourites...one of the best actors ever his father is Arthur Sigmund (*1893 † 1950) who ran a sports goods store and his mothers name was Theresa (* 1894 † 1982) he played the role of Eddie Felson twice: in 'The Hustler' (1961), and in 'The Color of Money' (1986) he was married to actress Joanne Woodward (* 1930) from 1958 until his death has 3 children with Witte and 3 with Woodward...his son, Scott (from his marriage to Jackie Witte) died of a drug overdose in 1978 his first wife was Jackie Witte (1949 - 1958, divorced) |
