what can I say...he's a living legend...one of the best actors ever, and one of my all time favourites

he is the son of Robert De Niro, Sr., an abstract expressionist, and Virginia Admiral, a painter

friends with Al Pacino since both met in 1969

he and fellow actor Robin Williams have in common that they spent time with John Belushi on the day Belushi died in 1982 at age 33

his father died 03. May 1993 (he was 71 years old), and his mother is still alive (at least, that's what I know)

best friends with Martin Scorsese...when DeNiro visited his dying father in the hospital, he also visited Martin Scorsese's ailing father in the same hospital. "My father never forgot that", Scorsese says (Scorsese's father died in August 1993)

De Niro formed his own production company in 1989: TriBeCa Productions

his 1st wife was Diahnne Abbott (1976 - 1988, divorced)

his 2nd wife was Grace Hightower (17. June 1997 - DeNiro filed for divorce in August 1998, and I know they´re divorced now, but don´t know when they really divorced)

has two kids with Diahnne Abbott...daughter Drena (actress and model), and son Raphael (* 1978) - his daughter Drena appeared in 'Grace of My Heart' (1996), together with Dustin Hoffman's daughter, Jenna Byrne in 'Wag the Dog' (1997), in 'Too Tired To Die'(1998) and in 'Great Expectations' (1998)

has twin sons, Aaron Kendrick and Julien Henry with former girlfriend Toukie Smith (* 20. October 1995)

has one son, Elliot, with Grace Hightower (* 18. March 1998)

Chazz Palminteri about DeNiro when they did 'A Bronx Tale' (1993):"His eyes are like hands that reach out and grab you."

Martin Scorsese once said about De Niro:"He doesn't look at you, he considers you."

and De Niro´s mother says:"He doesn't miss anything and he's always looking, That's one reason he doesn't talk much."
